Study of Bonding Strength at Salt-cement Interface During Cementation of Salt Layers

Cement has been used for decades in the industry to serve various important functions inside oil and gas wells. Due complications variations geological technical conditions of a well, cement compositions are designed utilized different world regions. Many hydrocarbon reservoirs covered by thick salt formations, which considered problematic costly be drilled cemented. slurry, as water based solution, interacts with rock, result properties changed that consequently may jeopardize well integrity across formations successful exploitation beneath reservoirs. In this study, on experimental industrial experiences, composition is developed meet requirements cementation layers. Experimental investigations conducted bonding strength at salt-cement interface, one factors significantly affect overall efficiency providing integrity. Results confirm effectiveness
